A Design-Build project to modernize 7 elevator lobbies and catwalk bridges between East and West Wings of Arlington Hall Station #1 located at Army National Guard Readiness Center.
Scope of work included demolishing existing structures and fixtures to replace them with new glass and stainless steel hand rails, floor tiles, carpet, energy efficient LED lights, elevator cab finishes, patching, painting, wall paneling, etc. The project was implemented in several phases to cause least amount of inconvenience to building occupants. While most work was performed during normal hours, some work was carried out on weekends.
